More grease to ur elbow, pls conceal my I'd., I am preparing to get married early next year, My girl and I went to see her pastor, he is very popular pastor here in warri, so the pastor ask me if we both had s.ex in our relationship, so I said YES, ( cos I don't wanna lie to a man of God). He said he can't join us together, its against the church law. Unless we undergo 1yr of purification programme. We still yet to tell our parents wat the pastor said( both families are preparing) This morning my wife to be told me she can't disobey her pastor and pleaded we should wait as the pastor demand, although am already making arrangement with my assistant pastor of my church to move the wedding to my church. I have other project to do after we get married I don't want delays. My bro and sisters should I wait or go ahead with my plans. Sorry for the long write up
Why wil the purification take a whole one year? What kind of purification is that? Or did u kill anybody? Abegii!! That one year break wil lead to more temptations are more sins will be committed. Apostle paul said "instead of a man to burn, let him get married". I dont subscribe to that purification programe, pray to God for forgiveness and carry on wit ur marriage. Pastors own de too much sometimes#my opinion.
ReplyDeleteFrom my own point of view,I don't tink he asked u guys to wait because u had sex.he must have said DT probably becos he doesn't want to tell both of u not to marry each other.purification can't take a whole year nw.maybe he just wants God to reveal some hidden tins abt ur relationahip.i advise u move closer to God cos going frm one pastor to d other can mislead u.
ReplyDeleteI don't like going to pastors....i don't know about thier stuff...even pastor too are avin marital problem and devorce this days.with all the holy holy.some pastors home are fires....yet like to take charge of ur own house.
ReplyDeleteSome of d delay and seperation d singles face ds days is cause by some pastors who doesnt hav d knowledge ofmarriage ministry.am nt supporting sex bfr marriage, bt as long as u have done d traditional rite God has already joined u guys together,church wedding is just calling on pple to rejoice with u,i wil advice u move ur wedding to ur church if u so wish to have white wedding, some of us dnt even know d meaning of church wedding,is there anywhere in d bible where "church wedding" is bn mentioned? u can call on ur pastor to come and pray for u guys after everthing. Again,my dear no man born of woman can purify u,our Lord Jesus has finished everything for us on d cross,if u can confess ur sins He is able to forgive u,d Holy Spirit is there for us,our God is so faithful depend on Him.Shalom!

ReplyDeleteDo u think that every sin doesnt have its penalty? yes u've confessed ur sin b4 ur pastor and he placed u on probation 4 one yr. why nt accept such punishment. wen two of u hv agreed to marry. and u open up to God and nt ur pastor, if u can hold urself 4 dt one yr, u'll see how God will work 4u. Advice is cheap bt be careful which one to take. Go to God in prayer and He shall direct ur path. dnt rush dt wedding.

ReplyDeleteWhere is in the bible that you will undergo one year purification because of pre marital sex?how many seconds did it take Jesus to forgive the criminal that was crucified with him on the cross?Fake pastors have turned the bible upside down don't go back to that church maybe he has interest in your wife to be.
